Robert “Jake” Jacobs
Jake Jacobs has worked with some of the largest corporations and governmental entities in the world. As a pioneer in the field of large-group interventions, he regularly works with groups of 500–1,000 or more to gain alignment and traction, translating strategy into action and values into behavioral change.
Jake’s work focuses on helping executives understand and engage people in developing and implementing strategy, build senior team effectiveness, design organizational architecture, and manage large-scale, complex change. He also helps executives strategize and develop new ways of thinking, working, and leading their businesses.
He has authored and co-authored six books, including: Real Time Strategic Change: How to Involve an Entire Organization in Fast and Far-Reaching Change; You Don’t Have To Do It Alone: How to Involve Others to Get Things Done; The Change Handbook; Positively M.A.D.: Making a Difference in Your Organizations, Communities, and the World; Organization Development at Work; and The Conscious Consultant. He also has written articles for Strategy and Leadership, Executive Excellence, Leader to Leader, Strategic HR Review, and Consulting to Management.
Before starting his own firm, Jake worked as an internal consultant at Ford and as an investigator for the Institute for Social Research.
He teaches in Notre Dame’s Executive Education program, the U.S. Navy’s Postgraduate Institute, the Roffey Park management institute in England, and St. Thomas University.
